Secure Cleaner
Privacy Policy
Effective
This policy explains the information practices of COREIHK TECHNOLOGY LIMITED in providing Secure Cleaner, our intelligent security and cleanup application.
About This Policy
Downloading, opening, or using Secure Cleaner (the "App") indicates that you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. Please discontinue use if you do not agree with it.
We may revise this policy as needed. Revisions apply once they are published within the App, on this page, or communicated through another reasonable form of notice.
1. Information Handled by the App
Details you choose to share
When you contact us or send materials, the information we receive may include:
- Your name, email address, and any other contact details supplied in correspondence.
- Messages, feedback, screenshots, descriptions of problems, support requests, and other submitted content.
- Details required to answer questions about the product, payments, legal matters, or customer service.
Device, diagnostic, and activity information
We and the providers supporting the App may process:
- Device model and general status, operating system and App versions, language preferences, and region settings.
- Records of App launches, pages viewed, feature interactions, subscription activity, advertising events, and similar use.
- Crash details, diagnostic reports, error records, performance measurements, and information about stability.
- Advertising or comparable identifiers, subject to device preferences and platform requirements.
Access that depends on your permissions
Your device controls access to certain data and capabilities. Depending on the App version and the choices you make, these may include Photos, files, location, notifications, tracking authorization, advertising identifiers, diagnostics, and related device functions.
2. Reviewing Media and Files for Cleanup
Storage inspection, intelligent cleanup, and security utilities may require analysis of the photos, videos, files, and associated metadata that you permit Secure Cleaner to access.
Cleanup analysis is intended to run on your device where technically supported. Your private media content is not used to train AI models or create advertising profiles.
- Review results may highlight repeated photos, similar images, large videos, screenshots, older files, or other potential cleanup items.
- We do not make a cloud backup or maintain a server-side copy of your private photos, videos, or files for cleanup analysis.
- We do not sell your private media content or use it for advertising profiling.
- Removing, compressing, cleaning up, or otherwise changing content requires your confirmation in the App or the operating system.
- Content is distinct from its descriptive metadata. Limited details such as file size, duration, type, creation date, and album information may help sort, group, filter, and recommend items.
Check your selections before confirming changes. Recovery may not be possible after content is removed or modified, so maintain backups of anything important.
3. Location Access and Notifications
If the App requests location access and you approve it, approximate or precise location may be used for security context, region-specific compliance, fraud prevention, advertising support, or location-dependent features.
With notification permission, we may deliver cleanup reminders, information about features, security alerts, subscription notices, and service updates.
You can withdraw location, notification, Photos, or tracking access in device settings. Features that rely on a withdrawn permission may stop working or offer reduced functionality.
4. Advertising and Tracking Preferences
Secure Cleaner may carry advertisements. Advertising partners may help display them, evaluate campaign results, prevent fraud, and measure how people interact with ads.
- Where Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework applies, we request and obtain your authorization before accessing the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) or performing tracking that requires that permission.
- When authorized, advertising identifiers and related information may support personalized ads and measurement.
- Declining tracking does not necessarily remove ads; the advertisements you see may be less relevant.
- You may revisit your tracking preference at any time through device settings.
5. Usage Analysis and Crash Diagnostics
Tools such as Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics may be used to evaluate App usage, investigate failures, and improve reliability. These tools may process:
- Launch activity, screen visits, and actions taken within features.
- Crash and error reports, device status, and other diagnostic records.
- Loading behavior, latency, stability measurements, and other performance data.
6. Purposes for Using Information
The information covered by this policy may support the following activities:
- Delivering, maintaining, and refining Secure Cleaner's storage, media review, cleanup, and security functions.
- Answering questions and handling support correspondence.
- Studying usage, finding defects, and improving speed and reliability.
- Serving advertisements, evaluating ad results, and detecting fraudulent or abusive activity.
- Checking subscription entitlements and making paid functions available.
- Providing reminders, alerts, service announcements, and other permitted messages.
- Meeting legal duties and safeguarding users, the company, the App, and our rights.
7. Providers and Integrated SDKs
External service providers and software development kits (SDKs) may support advertising, analytics, crash reporting, subscription checks, fraud prevention, infrastructure, and product improvements.
These may include Firebase services, advertising networks, Apple's payment systems, and other technical providers involved in operating or enhancing the App. Their handling of information is subject to their respective privacy policies and legal terms.
8. Payment and Subscription Records
Apple processes subscriptions and in-app purchases. Your bank card number and full payment credentials are neither collected nor stored by us.
To enable premium features or assist with purchase-related questions, we may receive limited records such as purchase status, the product identifier, transaction state, renewal status, or receipt details.
10. Information About Children
Secure Cleaner is not intended for children younger than 13, and we do not knowingly gather personal information from that age group. Please notify us if you believe a child has submitted personal information, so that we can investigate and respond appropriately.
11. Retention, Permissions, and Your Rights
Information is retained for a period reasonably needed to fulfill the purposes set out here. A longer period may apply where the law permits or requires it.
You can control Photos, file access, location, notifications, and tracking through the permission and access controls available on your device. Depending on your region, you may also be entitled to request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, or other privacy rights.
Contact us using the address below to discuss your information, make a request, or ask about your privacy choices.
12. Processing Across Borders
Our company is based in Hong Kong. Providers working with us may handle information there or in other regions in which they operate. For cross-border processing, we take reasonable steps aimed at protecting information consistently with this policy and applicable law.
13. Safeguarding Information
We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards intended to reduce unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, and disclosure. Complete security cannot be assured for any application, device, network, or storage method.
14. Updates to This Notice
We may change this policy periodically and will identify the revised version with an updated effective date. By continuing to use Secure Cleaner after an update takes effect, you acknowledge the revised policy.
